It's been a minute, yes? Ha.
I've been on a mental hiatus, I apologize. Had some much needed "me" time. After recording & putting out 2 EP's in a relatively close amount of time, I had to turn off the beats, just enjoy my smoke and kick back for a second (Hawaii was unforgettable). Basically just live life. The easiest way to write music: live your life. However, I felt like there was a missing piece. With "Waikiki" (something I truly made off the fly, inspired by the Hawaii trip, obvi) & a couple other song ideas in mind, I figured there needs to be a 3rd chapter to this series ("WDKY" & "#ScarfaceTubby" are basically the same album, the cohesiveness is apparent. To me, at least) and one morning while stoned, riding shotgun with my boy Z behind the wheel, I looked down @ my hand and saw the words "Death Is Promised" - Done deal.
Today I begin mapping out what will be a 5-7 song project. I'm listening to beats as we speak & life has brought me plenty more material, ha. I'll have something for you in the next couple weeks. That's if I don't smoke myself into a coma. It's known to happen. I'll holla, though...
