This picture is a reinterpretation of Jean-Paul Goude’s photo of Grace Jones, first published in New York Magazine in 1978, then used at the cover of her 1985 Island Life compilation album. Complex took the picture of Amber for their August/September issue but Kanye asked to hold it for a special occasion.
