deciding to release a mixtape the day after halloween party? bad idea

bedroom...working on artwork for "Bullets, Blogs & Bong Rips" which is due....today.

ok i'ma make this quick. I'm hungover. Feel like ass and just wanna sleep. Plus i'm super stoned (look at image above). The mixtape SHOULD (most likely) will be ready for launch tonight around 11pm-12. There was a recording issue with one of the songs (Picture Me Rollin) so as we speak (hopefully) Raw is mixing the record down. Its also been brought to my attention that Bay Dilla may have to re-do his verse and like myself, he's hungover from last night's festivities (READ THIS), so who knows if that's going to happen today.

Needless to say everything else is ready for launch. I will more than likely launch everything around midnight. If for some reason, PMR does not get completed 2nite, i will personally go in the booth 2NITE (Fif, you readin this?) and murder another beat from scratch and include that in the project. Final note: the artwork is SICK son! ;) My favorite cover i've designed to date!

Here is the final version of the Drake reference track that leaked around April i think (I listened to that fuckin song atleast 20 times a day when i got it. The episode will show the voyage to NY to see this historical east coast hip hop moment, capturing all the fun, funny, magical, odd, boring, ignorant and possibly fatal moments leading up the show. Will I get too drunk and get arrested or murdered in the mean streets of NYC? Will DJ 50/50 get robbed for his doo-rag and old navy jeans? Will Jim Jones jump off the stage and knock me out for screaming Suuu-Wooo inappropriately around a bunch of bloods? We'll find out soon enough. Tubby & 50/50 are NYC Bound! Nov.26th! History will be made! I just hope we get to live long enough to witness it! Ha! Dip Dip Set!

This weekend's been a rough one on ur boy. Friday i went out w/some pals visiting from Da Banks and things got a lil outta control (surprised?). So the weekend was spent recovering, trying to overcome a massive cold i acquired while aimlessly roaming these Atown streets in a drunk and jacket-less rage, and spendin time w/ my shweetie who was down here visiting as well... So needless to say, i'm not in a super bloggy mood today but i needed to grab a peach fruit kula (pictured above) and needed to get out the apt for a lil bit...

As far as work goes, "Bullets, Blogs & Bong Rips" is 98% complete. I will leak the next track NEXT thursday (Oct.21st) on Ground Zero Hip Hop with Fif. It's called "Computer Screen" and is one of my favorite tracks i've made in awhile (even tho it's technically NOT my track, but i doubt Nas fans will mind, haha!) and definitely will stir the pot a lil... after that I will leak the complete version of "Picture Me Rollin 2010" the day before i drop the entire mixtape which will be on Halloween. After that, i think it may be time for a lil break from the booth and time to revamp the site (read this) - Still getting used to this mac book, but expect NEW Hellrazor TV sometime this week and depending on how productive i am, you might get more than that...but more than likely not. Just sayin. *sips smoothie*
