So, here's a youtube episode/mini documentary idea:
2 guys from Alaska (Me & DJ 50/50), maybe a couple girls, in NYC, specifically The Hammerstein Ballroom (an NYC hip hop historical monument in itself) watching The Diplomats (DipSet) reunion show, their first one with all members of DipSet on the same stage. The episode will show the voyage to NY to see this historical east coast hip hop moment, capturing all the fun, funny, magical, odd, boring, ignorant and possibly fatal moments leading up the show. Will I get too drunk and get arrested or murdered in the mean streets of NYC? Will DJ 50/50 get robbed for his doo-rag and old navy jeans? Will Jim Jones jump off the stage and knock me out for screaming Suuu-Wooo inappropriately around a bunch of bloods? We'll find out soon enough. Tubby & 50/50 are NYC Bound! Nov.26th! History will be made! I just hope we get to live long enough to witness it! Ha! Dip Dip Set!
